I need to put this one right in.
We had a magnificent Sunday School which fed off of a magnificent church service which fed off of a magnificent prayer service at 0645 hours. Yes that was early but it was also magnificent.
We talked as was the lesson about His power, His character, and last but not least His provisions. ALL THREE ARE INTIMATELY RELATED TO HIS WORD!
We started off in John 1:11
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
OK and John 1:9-9
The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God
Preachers, teachers, ushers , choir members, deacons, musicians leadership you are neglecting a child or not listening to an adult who is the least of the givers in your flock right now preacher man. One of the givers is unemployed and can not give money but has a testimony which will bring in resources after he is delivered. This message is for you. Seek out the least of these and you will become a better preacher. Ask not what your members can do for you but ask what you can do for your members. Don’t emulate Joe or John or TD or whoever follow the Holy Spirit for as long as it takes for your flock or family to come to fruition. It is about the flock not the leader of the flock. You are expendable and may be replaced. The flock is not. Out of what appears to be a void are many visions until Jesus comes back.. “ Teacher man, roll your window down” Stop feeding your flesh with that pornography!
God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
And to edify and compare we used Genesis to illustrate the light, His Word, and the beginning. We also emphasized how God started with nothing and spoke forth with His Word 1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
And then further on up the road in Genesis 26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
And in chapter 2 Genesis
8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
But in contrast
15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
Notice that God 1. Planted trees that bore fruit and 2 He gave all fruit from the tree that had seed in it. By the process of dialectics the tree that was forbidden was not a tree that bore fruit that had seed in it, even if it were a tree in the midst of the garden .
He made the outline of me last, before He rested on the seventh day after intergizing Adam. He gave us an intimate relationship but we longed to go back from that which we were made in a natural sense. We ate of a forbidden fruit which was in the same place that the Tree of Life was. We had a duality of focus and loss our faith. We died to that Intimate relationship with God. He said surely you must die!
We were the cause of His death. We must take responsibility regardless of how much knowledge we have! If not for my sin there would be no need for His death. In doing this we shall be saved, and we presently are healed or our infirmity to rebel and accept Him as Lord. Chose you this day who you will serve! It was in Genesis that He gave His plan of His Word becoming flesh dwelling amongst us and then dying. He is omniscient and knew of the fall. The fall was in HIS plan as is our fall. The real question is an object of Focus after the fall and duality. It can only occur with His LOVE, His WORD and our confession to jump back into INTIMACY with Him.
Yes we fell and we may fall again but where do we go after determines the length of time that we stay down. By His Power His Love AND His Word we have completed our small little treatise
Remember only the flesh could die and live again. His Word ain't going no where ! It is here until the end of the world and then beyond. So can you if you only believe!
